![]() Usually the actors in the dorm will stop her from doing too much. A recurring joke that's played for laughs is her love for curry, and the fact that she can and will make any type for however long she wants. She has her own thoughts, and justifies how she feels about the actions of others. The player character of A3! is always bold, upfront, and looks on the positive side of things. ![]() If anything, she's basically married to her job (managing IDOLiSH7), and cares more about that than, say, being in a romantic relationship. She will speak up when she feels it's necessary, too. The player character of IDOLiSH7, is very optimistic and sweet, though she always needs guidance. Obey me, on the other hand, though not an otome, has nothing to compensate for the player character's almost nonexistent personality. Amnesia:Memories, a PC otome with a heroine that has close to no personality, was enjoyable for me to play, as Orion made up for that with his own personality. Now don't get me wrong, I love joseimuke player characters that have personalities (Except for IDOLiSH7's she's the epitome of Y/N), but the one for Obey Me! just feels so bland. It almost seems like the developers are much more focused on whatever brings them money, rather than good writing.Īnother point I'd like to bring up is the player character. Not to mention, the abundance of inconsistent details and plot holes in the story and lore overall is insane. They all include common cliches, like ones you’d see in common wattpad stories. Most event stories will never even touch character development, and are mostly full of fan service too. The storytelling isn't very strong either, as the story has never used its plot and setting to its advantage. I feel that their personalities will greatly limit whatever future character development the writers try to give them. I understand that the main 7 characters being sins means that their personalities need to revolve around a certain thing, but I think they feel pretty shallow. Like I mentioned just prior, all I want to do I want to talk about my personal thoughts on the game in a nice and civilized way.Īs someone who has played this game and many other games like it, I personally could care less about the story and the characters. I'm not trying to say that I'm right, force my opinion on anybody, or say that the Obey Me! fandom is wrong for liking the game. I understand that if I personally don't like the game, that I don't need to play it, but all I want to do is state my personal opinion on it. ![]() I'm not very fond of the game itself, but I would definitely love to see what you guys think of my opinions on it. I've seen how Obey Me!'s taken the world by storm, and I thought that now wouldn't be a bad time to give my 5 cents on the game, now that it's been out for a year.
